If you are living in a standard, wood frame home then your body is most likely overburdened with toxicity. How can you tell? If you have any chronic pain or illness it could be from your home.

As a society, we have slowly become desensitized to living in a toxic environment and we are sicker than ever before.

How did this happen?

Post WWII, there was a housing shortage. We needed houses..and fast. This dawned the era of high volume construction. These homes built in Post WWII utilized cheap, manufactured components for faster construction to keep up with the demand for high volume materials. The first significant pre-fabricated homes were developed in the 1950s and 1960s, utilizing these factory built components for faster construction. You may be thinking about 'mobile homes' when you hear pre-fabricated or modular. But this also includes the single-family homes like the one you are probably living in right now.

Prefabricated Materials.

What are they?  Dry Wall, floor systems, kitchens, bathrooms, insulation materials, floor tiles and adhesives, roofing materials, paint, adhesives, plywood, MDF, and more. These types of construction materials contain toxins and some include asbestos, formaldehyde, lead, polyvinyl chloride, flame retardants, and benzene.

Guess what?

You are breathing these toxins RIGHT NOW as you are reading this - unless you are sitting outside away from a building or sitting in a structure that was specifically built with healthy materials. Our homes are literally making us sick. How do we change this? There is a solution! We can make BETTER choices - healthy, sustainable, clean and BEAUTIFUL choices.

It's time to change the way we live!! (I wish I could shout that from a mountain top for all to hear.). It's just time to invest in our health and the health of the next generations.
